Het IFFB is een festival dat je als bezoeker moet leven, overweldigend en inspirerend. Daarom: IFFB 2011 in Gonzo-vision

Gonzo is een stijl van verslaggeving, ontsproten aan de eigenzinnige journalistieke stijl van Hunter S. Thompson (bij de filmfan bekend van zijn cult-klassieker ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’ uit 1971, later nog verfilmd door Terry Gilliam). Gonzo, niet de feitelijke gebeurtenissen, maar zijn eigen ervaringen staan aan de basis van zijn verslagen.

There is a cheerful atmosphere during the Pre-Opening. The small film room the StadsGalerij is filled with film lovers and filmmakers. Many beautiful meetings take place, not only on the screen (in the film Fleurs du Mal) but also among the guests. The party could really start at 't Hijgend Hert, where the afterparty was.

Pathé Breda looks like a beehive on the Grand Opening night of IFFB. The buzzing of the guests, arranged in ribbons and scarfs, skirts and heels gracefully. The search lights of the cameras shoot the pink carpet and inside the bubbles flowing abundantly.
